NRA Joins Other Organizations In Lawsuit to Keep Public Lands Open
The National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA) has partnered with Safari Club International, Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation, and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and filed motions to intervene in and dismiss a lawsuit challenging the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s decision to expand hunting and fishing opportunities on more than 2.3 million acres of land at 106 National Wildlife Refuges. Vermont May Add Extra Fall Moose Hunting Season
The state may issue 100 moose hunting permits for the upcoming fall season, the Associated Press reports. The Fish and Wildlife Board recently accepted the proposed hunt, moving it closer to becoming a reality. Discover more HERE.

North Carolina Approves Limited Bear Hunting
The state's Wildlife Resources Commission voted to allow bear hunting in three areas of the state where bear sanctuaries are located. According to the new rules, hunters will need a permit and the season will be heavily regulated. See details HERE.
