The legendary 1911 pistol is a model favored by gun enthusiasts of many varieties. It was the standard issue side arm for the U.S. Armed Forces from 1911 to 1985. The Cimarron 1911 is the first ever semi-automatic pistol from Cimarron Firearms. Cimarron is well known for their reproductions of classic firearms from the past, and the 1911 is the next logical step for Cimarron as it was the next generation of pistol used en masse in World War I. With a 5" barrel, GI style sights, a lanyard loop and a Parkerized finish, this gun looks and shoots just like a military issued pistol. Each Cimarron 1911 has the correct historical markings, the original 1911 frame with a type 1 smooth mainspring housing. Cimarron's 1911 is Colt parts compliant and is sure to add some historical flair to your firearm collection.
