The bonding process beings with a simple lead core projectile, then under hot bonding a brass jacket is essentially glued to core. This allows the bonded projectile to retain almost all of its initial grain weight after passing through barriers, clothing and your intended target. Testing has shown that Remington Golden Saber bonded has an almost 97% weight retention even after recovering a projectile that has been shot through automobile glass.
