Sitka Optifade Waterfowl Marsh Duck Oven Jacket

Fresh migrations of ducks that eagerly respond to calls and decoys are often brought in by harsh weather fronts.  If you don't want to miss the hottest waffling waterfowl you have to be there with a layering system to handle anything mother nature dishes out.  As usual, Sitka Gear has combined several innovative technologies into the Duck Oven jacket allowing it to be worn alone mid-season or layered late in the year.

Body mapped insulation puts 200gm of Primaloft Silver in the torso with only 133gm down the sleeves for warmth where it matters and low bulk for comfortable layering.  The upper part of the garment is woven polyester, while the lower third is Sitka's 4-way stretch gradient fabric for no unnecessary bulk inside your waders or bibs.  The whole thing employs GORE-TEX INFINIUM with WINDSTOPPER® laminate for the ultimate wind protection as well as a DWR (durable water repellent) finish to shed snow and mist.

Construction is purposeful including a high collar to keep cold wind off the neck and longer sleeves with thumholes for efficient layering and/or enough hand covering to combat early morning chills but all the dexterity needed for precise calling.  Upper hand pockets remain accessible when wearing bibs or waders, and a zippered chest pocket is perfect for small essentials.
