The Winchester Model 70, a legendary firearm since 1936, sets the standard for bolt-action rifles. The Model 70's classic controlled round feed (CRF) bolt design includes a massive claw extractor that secures about one-quarter of the cartridge base, maintaining full control from magazine to ejection. This design also allows for the extraction of an unfired cartridge even if not fully chambered. The M.O.A. Trigger System, the world's most precise three-lever trigger system, offers an improved fit, finish, and enhanced accuracy, complemented by the pre-'64 controlled round feeding. A blade-type ejector provides full control when ejecting a fired case, and the free-floating barrel, button-rifled for superior accuracy and durability, ensures consistent performance.
