This process is very precise and Grace USA holds their tolerance to -.002 +.000 to get an exact screwdriver tip to screw fit. Edward C. Grace, founder of Grace USA, also owned a gunsmith shop and was determined to create a screwdriver that would be a functional tool for this industry and it continues strong to this day. The square shanked blades are hardened to R/C 52-56 and are not to twist or chip. The screwdriver handle is another important component to this tool. It is turned in Maine to the exact qualifications from Maine hardwood and protected with a nicely stained finish.
