The Savage 64 Takedown is fast, reliable and ready to go. This rimfire combines the accuracy and dependability of the original Model 64 semi-automatic platform with an easy takedown design. Having a Savage Arms 64 Takedown rifle in your arsenal means you’re perfectly equipped for most situations on the farm, ranch and most handy for predators and personal safety. With a receiver that’s drill tapped to accept a scope mount, the Savage 64 Takedown allows for extremely accurate long-range shots, and with a 1:16” twist, guarantees you can deliver the shot with terminal velocity upon impact. It puts rounds downrange and on target fast using a consistent straight-blowback action fed by a detachable 10-round box magazine. This model can be easily broken into two halves for storage or transportation. The barrel simply attaches to the receiver with a ratcheting barrel nut. Includes an Uncle Mike's Bug-Out soft case.
